Nepal’s rivers, which all begin as a trickle of ice-melt, swifty become raging torrents as they are joined and swollen by countless tributaries.Through the millennia, they have cut some of the world’s deepest gorges, plunging in a matter of Kilometers from heights of more than 6,000 metres to just above sea level. From Arctic ice to tropical jungle , in spate , these rivers complete such a journey within 12 hours to a week.
Nepal has earned a very high reputation in the field of white-water rafting and kayaking. Here are lots of such rivers where one can do rafting throughout of a year. Rafting in September to early November requires more expertise, as rivers are high and fast after the monsoon.
