The Annapurna region in north-western Nepal is one of the most beautiful popular tourist destinations. The area protected under the Annapurna Conservation Area Project is characterized by contradictions as the region is home to the country’s windiest, wettest, and driest places in the country.  Every year thousands of trekkers and visitors flock to the region to experience trekking in one of the world’s most trek-able region that has trekking routes for all kind of trekkers ranging from recreational trekkers to professional trekkers.

Annapurna, Dhampus, Pothana and Ghandruk trek is also known as the Annapurna Loop Trek and is immensely popular trekking route suitable for a short trek. The moderate difficulty level and altitude of the trekking route makes it possible to trek year-round and is especially suited for people who do not have many days to trek but want to experience the lifestyle and watch the magnificent Himalayans from its lap.  The Ghandruk trek offers an awe-inspiring view of the massive Annapurna South, Himalchuli, Machhapuchhri and also the Dhaulagiri Range. As we trek further we will have an amazing view of other peaks above 8000m, the Nilgiri Mountain and the Dhaulagiri Mountain soaring through the sky.

We will trek through the enchanting forests dotted red with rhododendrons and also the beautiful oak forests. There are good chances we will have sightings of exotic Himalayan flora and faunas such as leopard, musk deer among other. The region is also home to a great variety of birds.

Another highpoint of the trek is the viewers will be able to witness and experiences the lifestyle and culture of the indigenous Gurung people in iconic settlements of Ghandruk and Dhampus among others. The Gurungs who are famed around the world for their bravery and are known as Gurkhas. We will be able to see the beautiful wood and mud houses, intricately built wooden porches, the fun and elaborate festivals and traditions will provide an uncommon glimpse of the vibrant lifestyle of Himalayan people even in the harshest of terrains.

From Kathmandu, we will drive to Pokhara and on our way, we will go rafting in the dwindling river of Trishuli. The white water river is one of the most popular rivers in the world that will elevate your rafting experience to many levels.

The trek journey will begin from the scenic city of Pokhara. From Pokhara, we will drive to Nayapul from where we will trek through the beautiful settlement of Chhomrong on the banks of the fierce Modi Khola. The trek will come to end in Pokhara as well. In Pokhara, which is the most popular tourist region in the country, we can visit the serene and beautiful lakes of Phewa, Rupa and Begnas. We can also indulge in adrenaline pumping activities like paragliding, white water canoeing, and zip flying.
