Nepal was closed to foreigners until the 1950s and has always been a subject of fascination for scholars, researchers and tourists for its abundance of natural and cultural beauty blended with rich history.

The Everest Base Camp and Main Highlights of Nepal trek begins from sightseeing of the capital city, Kathmandu. The Valley was divided into 3 kingdoms in the medieval period with each kingdom trying to outdo other. Thus, the history has endowed us with 7 UNESCO world heritage sites. We will visit the beautiful courts and palaces of the medieval kings, the historic temple of Pashupati Nath, and the gigantic shrines of Lord Buddha, Swayambhu Nath and Boudha Nath which are all at least 200 years old on average.

The Everest Base Camp Trek (5,545m) will surpass all your expectations. The trek to the foot of the tallest peak in the world will grant you an incredible view of towering peaks that will last you a lifetime. The trek in itself is a rich experience as you can experience and witness the rich lifestyle and tradition of the Sherpas, the world-famous tribe of the Himalayans famous for their unreal mountaineering skills. Along the route and from the base camp we will have stunning view of Mt. Everest and other equally mesmerizing peaks above 8,000m like Mt. Makalu, Mt. Manaslu, and Mt. Kanchenjunga. We will also be able to cross enthralling passes and walk over massive glaciers. We will also visit the historic monasteries in the region such as Tengboche.

We will also visit Chitwan in the low-land Terai among the tropical forests. In Chitwan we will visit the elephant breeding center and attend Tharu Cultural Program. However, the main highlight of the trek is Chitwan National Park, where we will go for a jungle Safari on an elephant’s back. The national park is home to many endangered species like one-horned rhions, Royal Bengal tiger and the fish-eating Ghariyal crocodiles. We can also have sighting of exotic birds as it houses over 400 species of birds. We will also indulge in water canoeing in the serene river of Rapti.

We will also visit Pokhara, the most popular tourist destination in the country. The small valley is home to over 3 big and pristine lakes, beautiful and mysterious caves, and milky white Seti River among others. We will have incredible view of the western peaks such as Annapurna and Machhapuchhre from Pokhara and can indulge in breath-taking sports adventure activities like Water canoeing, zip flying, and Paragliding. We can also buy beautiful and unique souvenirs to take back home.

The package can be tailored to cater the clients’ need. We can add new places and new activities to augment your experience even further on your request.  The most appropriate time for the Everest Base Camp Trek is autumn (October and November) and spring (April and May). The months are selected on the base of climate and visibility.
